For the third time I welcome back a talented writer, Dancer in Chains. Have you started reading her series called Moon Feather yet? Remember last time I introduced her, I mentioned it, and the series is still ongoing and as exciting as ever. Read it!
You can read more of her work on her blog, or follow her on Twitter.
Top 3 for week 518 by Dancer in Chains
Greetings, sexy people! It’s me again. It’s been an extremely stormy week, as it’s tornado season in my corner of the world, appropriate weather for the setback of women’s rights in the U.S. happening this week. The sex blogging community has proven to be a great source of support and resources for those of us living in this dystopian hellscape. On a brighter note, storms are also great reading weather, so here’s my top three for this week’s Wicked Wednesday!
The Precarious Bridge of Uncertainty by Windy
I identify hard with this one. My earliest days in kink were in the old iirc chatrooms on collarme/collarspace back in college. I was an awkward little shit with no real life experience. Although, unlike Windy, I was more of an observer than an asker, unpartnered and too nervous to ask questions of strangers. It was much the same at my first munch. Somehow over the years I became a community leader, so beware. The rabbit hole runs deep, my friends.
The Days of my Life by May More
Now, I am not over 50, but this one still spoke to me. Particularly the anecdote about the date where they kissed on the bridge in the rain. I am currently embarking on a new relationship, and that scene had me wistfully hoping for something equally romantic in my future. Also, being a fan of poignant song lyrics, I enjoyed that inclusion as well.
B is for Bridge by Charmer
This story was super cute. I am not sure how I would react in that situation, myself. I wonder if I’d be badass at it because I’m half blind and do a lot of things without sight anyway, or if it would fall under my weird quirk where I have to have my eyes open to swim straight even though I can’t see without glasses anyway. It reminds me of other trust exercises from when I was a kid. That surprise sounded super worth it, and I’m jealous.
Have you ever played truth or dare? Tell us what happened, or write a sexy story about truth or dare.
