Every time I ask Charmer to do the roundup, she says yes, and I just know she and Steeled Snake will do it together. This was the fifth time they took care of choosing the top 3. If you haven’t yet read their blog, you are missing out, so make sure to follow them there and then follow both Charmer and Snake on Twitter. You won’t be sorry!

Top 3 for week 512 by Steeled Snake & Charmer

With all of the great content, we (Snake and Charmer) always have a hard time choosing only 3. It’s so great to see how many different ways people approached this prompt, and at the same time, some really fun posts that went their own way. We love the flexibility! Such really great posts, hard to pick favorites, but pick, we must.

After much deliberation and perhaps a BIT of negotiation, our top 3 posts are:

Recipe for Friendship: Six Steps to Success by The Barefoot Sub
This was a cool take on the prompt and they’re spot-on! There is much that goes into a friendship, and it’s easy to forget bits of it from time to time. It’s also important to revisit some of these as the friendship matures, to keep things moving forward, and keep learning about those in your life. And a little kink never hurts either!

Ba-bo-tea… No, It’s Not Tea! by Marie Rebelle
We loved this because, well, it looks delicious! We’ve seen it on cooking shows, but never remembered to look it up. It was wonderful reading about all of the variations and the history behind it was cool, too. Definitely one we’d be interested in trying out.

Safe chapter 3 part 1 by Asrai Devin
We could easily imagine this happening – one of those times where you get lost in the lust and lose all pretense and just go with it. Those are powerful times. We really liked the descriptive walk through the feelings, smells, and the “what’s next” aspect, although we suspect we can guess…
