Look at that. The first week of the year is already behind us. It feels like time is just going so fast, like every next day looks the same as the previous. Am I the only one feeling like this?
This is the last week for a while that I will be doing the roundup, as I have quite a number of people on my list for the coming weeks. If you want to do the roundup, please get in contact so I can plan you in!
Top 3 for week 501 by Marie Rebelle
This week I chose to highlight three posts that followed the prompt.
Looking Back to Plan Forward by Brigit Delaney
I like how thorough Brigit is in her planning, and how she looks back to what has worked and what can change when she makes plans for the new year. She plans for all aspects of her life, not only her blog, all while keeping in mind that she’s one person who has to do all those things. Planning is her love language, she says, and when you read this post (and others dealing with planning) you see that it is!
Freedom is as Freedom Does by Gemma Jones
When Gemma went on her sailing trip from April to September 2021, I followed as closely as I could, drawn in by the fact that she left ‘normal life’ behind to go on this adventure, and I still like to hear about it. In this post she touches on the concept of freedom, and what it means in terms of being a responsible member of society. Very interesting thoughts!
Party All Night Long by May More
If there is one thing I would love to do, it’s to party with May ALL NIGHT LONG! Somewhere there’s a bottle of wine with our names on it! That said, I love how May has structured this post, and love all the people she wants at her party. Some of them I have met, and would love to spend time with again, and others I can’t wait to meet. Let’s party!
A very special welcome back to:
This prompt – Lost & Found – can be interpreted any way you want. Have you actually lost something and found it back again? Or have you felt you have lost yourself and then had to work hard to find yourself again? Interpret any way you want.
When you write and link your post, consider linking it to other memes too. You can find current prompts and memes on the Blogable calendar.
As always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!
This month’s prompt on The Menopause Diaries

If you don’t have a blog and you want to participate in one of the prompts, please look at this page and submit your writing or image. I will do the rest.
The same goes for The Menopause Diaries: you can submit your posts here.
- The rules for this meme can be found here and you can download the Wicked Wednesday badge on the same page.
- Don’t forget to add the Wicked Wednesday button to your post, post on your blog and come back here to link your post. The countdown in the sidebar will tell you how much time is left for you to link your post.
- Please note that it is not compulsory to follow the weekly prompt. It is only here for inspiration when you need it!
- Please make your stories no longer than 1500 words.
Thank you for participating and please, don’t forget to visit and read the other entries too! We all love to receive comments on our entries. Spread the love!
