Have you seen?
Look at that number above.
Yes, this is prompt #499!
Next week we reach prompt #500!
Are you as excited as I am?
This week, for the first time, we welcome Nopantsendurance to the roundup of Wicked Wednesday. I have been following his blog for some time, and love the picture stories he puts together, using props and in stunning locations. If you haven’t seen those yet, you are definitely missing out on something, so please go check his blog, and you can also follow him on Twitter.
Top 3 for week 498 by Nopantsendurance
Light and darkness is often portrayed as a binary either/or. This prompt’s submissions did much to explore a twilight in between, unsurprising given all of us sex bloggers exist on a fringe in society. Perhaps we are better suited to explore the dichotomy? Certainly all of these posts did so and did so well! But I must choose three:
The Truth and the Way by Marsha Adams
This piece certainly explores a darkness pushing into discomfort, but in a challenging way I approve of!
Dark Nights And London Lights by Jenna Kirkpatrick
A story of hope in the darkness of real life hardship. A reminder to cherish life in this holiday season that can all too easily distract from the big picture with ultimately meaningless minutia.
Blind by Kristan X
This one hits home due to my relationship with a visually impaired Lovely individual who proves and inspires every day that need not hold one back in love nor life!
Honorable mention: Dream Girl: I just want Lovely to know that she is beautiful and brings me so much light!
We are rapidly nearing the end of this year, and all over the world, December is a festive month, because of Christmas, but also because it’s the last month of the year, and on New Year’s Eve we will all be counting down to 2022. What are you going to do for the holidays? Do you have Christmas decorations? How will you spend New Year’s Eve? Or maybe you are a grinch, and not in the mood for any celebrations? Share with us how you celebrate the festive days, if at all.
When you write and link your post, consider linking it to other memes too. You can find current prompts and memes on the Blogable calendar.
As always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!
