Have you seen?
Look at that number above. Yes, this is prompt #498 We are SO close to prompt #500! Are you as excited as I am?

For the fourth time, we welcome Jaime Mortimer and thank him for doing the top 3 for last week’s Wicked Wednesday prompt. One thing I love about Jaime’s blog is the series he shares, and the way he knows to keep the tension in those from week to week. If you haven’t read his series yet, please hop over to his blog and do so. You can also follow Jaime on Twitter.

Top 3 for week 497 by Jaime Mortimer

This one was an unusually thoughtful collection, as you’d expect if you make the prompt “Life Lessons.”

My selections have favoured those that tell a story, and have that distinctive but indefinable quality of sexiness.

(Indefinable? Well, I can tell the smell of a rose, but I couldn’t tell you what roses smell like, except to say that they smell like roses. Sexiness is like that, but even harder to define because it’s so extremely subjective.)

But some contributions were about personal soul-searching and presenting findings, and I learned from and admired them. But I still felt drawn to stories.

But I really recommend you have a look at all of this week’s submissions, and not just the three I’ve picked.

Here are my three picks, which do indeed have a tendency to say their thing by way of story.

An Exercise by Kristan X
I wouldn’t have thought I was into gym kink. But this story, by Kristan X and Lascivity, is hot. So much of the exercise we do is to make our bodies sexier, and this one combines the exercise and the lust in one scene and setting. I liked it!

Life Lessons- The Covid Edition!
This, from The Barefoot Sub, is perhaps less story-focussed, so there is a real-life story of Covid-19 and how its affect the sufferer’s relationship, with her children and her Sir. It’s thoughtful and positive – in the good sense of positive!

Retro: Dark Street (Severine) by F Dot Leonora
From F Dot Leonora, a sensuous and sexy as hell tale of sexting in the rain. I particularly like the moment when the woman realises that her lover may be remembering something he did with someone else, not her, but decides to let it pass. Emotional realism is sexy!

  1. Hey Marie, just FYI: there are several strike-throughs in your post which are probably meant to be underlines. And the space where you would normally have the Menopause Diaries prompt info is blank.

    1. Thanks for letting me know, Feve! I have added the Menopause prompt to the post. The strike-throughs are beause currently Blogable is in maintenance mode, so the links can’t be reached. Those will rectify themselves when the site is open again.
