Somewhere during this week I needed the number of the week – week 23. The twenty-third week of 2021. We are almost halfway through this year, and honestly, to me it feels like only yesterday that we ended 2020. Does any of you feel the same way, that time is passing by just too quickly? Part of it might also be because every day looks like the previous one… working from home, restrictions when going out, etc., which is why I am so happy that soon we will almost be back to normal! Although I will still be working from home…
But for now, let’s get on with the roundup.
Top 3 for week 472 by Marie Rebelle
I always like doing the Wicked Wednesday roundup, even though, just like others, I never find it easy to select only three posts. Last week was about balance, and the universe knows that it’s something I can really use in my life: a bit of balance. But, while I am trying to find that balance, I just push on and do what I need to do, with my head held high.
For my top 3 I have chosen three totally different posts, as each of them stayed with me after I had read it, and all for different reasons.
City of Whores – Part One by Eve Ray
When Eve and Posy wrote their story Delphine’s Schooldays (find it on their blogs) together, I became a fan of Eve’s erotica writing. In this first part of a new story, Eve managed to capture my attention from beginning to end, and by the end of this part, I wanted to know a lot more about Rozalia, who was forced by Krenek to work in prostitution. He had her under his thumb, or did he? You will have to read for yourself to find out.
For the Men: Your Gender is Not a Reason for Shame by Dancer in Chains
The title of this piece immediately had me curious to read it, and by the time I had finished the first paragraph, I was already nodding my head, and I kept in doing so until I stopped reading. A brilliantly written piece, clear and to the point. There are so many things I want to highlight from this post, but instead of doing so, I will just say: read it!
Imbalance in Internet Dating by Mrs Jones
I have never engaged in Internet dating, but I love reading about the experiences of others. What I also love to read about, are Mrs Jones’ experiences. In this post Mrs Jones shares some of her selection process in those who respond to her online profile. What I like the most in this post is when she mentions Mr Jones, and how they have grown together now they are with each other 24/7. It’s just lovely to read, and I think in the future we might just be ‘witness’ to more of her sexy encounters. A good read!
We all get to a place in our life, where we want to improve things. It can be work-related, that you want to do better, or organize things differently, but it can also be about your personal life, such as losing weight, taking better care of yourself, or maybe even ending a unhealthy relationship. Share those moments when you wanted to do better, or when someone helped you in some way to improve things in your life. Make it as sexy as you want to!
When you write and link your post, consider linking it to other memes too. You can find current prompts and memes on the Blogable calendar.
As always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!
