Morag reminded me that I asked her previously to do the roundup, and then she disappeared. Now I remembered she disappeared, because I was so happy when totally unexpected an email appeared in my inbox, and I realized she had started blogging again. One of my favorites was back! Like she mentions in her introduction below, I had indeed forgotten that she was supposed to do the roundup before. If you haven’t read her blog yet, make sure you do, and you can also follow her on Twitter.
Top 3 for week 463 by Morag
I was first asked and agreed to do a round-up back in 2018. Unfortunately, in the time between agreeing and it being my turn to do it, a number of life events overtook both Master C and I and the upshot was that I completely forgot I was supposed to do it. It was only when I logged back into Twitter several months later and saw a DM from Marie asking me if I was still OK to do it, and several mentions from her asking the wider blogging community on Twitter if they knew anything of my situation, that I remembered I’d agreed to it all those months earlier.
With that in mind, I was delighted to be given a chance to redeem myself (although Marie assures me she had forgotten all about the previous incident), and so here I am…
As pretty much everyone who does this or any other round-up for the various memes we take part in says, the thrill of being asked to do it is quickly replaced by the daunting task of having to actually choose three posts to highlight; it is definitely not an easy task.
However, a deal is a deal and a promise is a promise, so after much deliberation, I’ve picked the three that, in a field of excellent submissions, just “said something” to me and made my head nod, or my heat beat a little bit faster.
So, before I bore you all with my endless waffling, here are my picks…
Yes Sir – A True Tale of Trickery – MrsK
Reading this, it could almost have been my story. I’m no stranger to kink/swinger clubs and dungeons and this resonated so much with my own experiences; that thrill mixed with trepidation at having an audience that is slowly washed away as the scene develops and you lose yourself in moment and what is being done to you.
“After fastening cuffs to my wrists and attaching them to the cross, it seemed like he left me there for an eternity. I was counting the passing seconds by the rapid beating of my heart, which was thumping much too fast to be accurate. Something cold brushed upon my leg, and I jumped with a start.”
Everything about this was so beautifully detailed; the build-up, the anticipation, the fear, the suspense, the punishment and the feelings that accompanied it and the aftermath. I wanted to be in that scene, not to watch her, but to take her place. I really hope that the world returns to a place where such scenes can happen again.
Good Girl – Deep Throat – Asrai Devin
If you read my blog, you will know how much I love sucking cock; so it really should surprise no one that this post made my picks. To me, it spoke of two things, the love of sucking cock and the devotion to her Dominant. She is sucking His cock because that is what she wants to do, but she is also doing it as an act of service/devotion.
“Deeper, deeper, until her body rebelled at the intrusion. Still he nudged deeper, forcing her to concentrate on the calm point inside her. He explained the need for focus so many times, and now, he hit her limit and she held her breath as he went down.”
Again, this is a post that chimed so resonantly with my own experiences. It’s that element of concentrating on the task, doing it for yourself as much as the person you are going down on. Oh, and the fact that she gets called “Good Girl” at the end, yeah, that pretty much does it for me too.
Bravery… – RugbyMilf
This is a wonderfully personal piece and again, it seems the author and I have much in common. In our professional lives, given our occupations, the past 12 months have been particularly difficult and harrowing. I also suspect that we have to behave in ways that are deemed appropriate to our callings. Our online selves allow us to be freer in terms of expression and be public with sides of our lives and personalities that, possibly, might not receive such a welcome reception in the offline world.
“Its brave as I am letting people look at me in various states of physical dress or undress, emotionally undress my desires in writing…”
I’m quite comfortable sharing my thoughts online, and although I’m generally happy with my body and show it in the context of my sexual encounters, I generally don’t show much of it or very often online. I completely get that this is Alice’s space to explore, to push her boundaries and, most of all have fun; we all need more of that in our lives, especially now.
There were 18 other entries, not including my own, and I truly enjoyed reading them and learning something about so many of my fellow bloggers. I thank each of you for making this a fabulously difficult process.
Introvert – Extrovert – Ambivert – Omnivert
We all know what an introvert or extrovert is, and we know people who are introverts, and those who are extroverts. But, do you know ambiverts and omniverts? An ambivert is someone who has a balance of extrovert and introvert features in their personality, and an omnivert displays classic traits of both introverts and extroverts, in specific situations. What kind of personality do you have?
