I think I said it in my roundup at the end of 2020, but as from this year you will see me doing the roundup every 4-5 weeks. Years ago, I started asking others to do the roundup and sometimes for months didn’t do it myself, but this being my meme, and a project that’s very close to my heart, I thought it’s about time I do more of the roundups.
Oh and, if any of you want to do the roundup, just let me know and I will put you on the list!
Top 3 for week 453 by Marie Rebelle
The prompt for last week was ‘passion’ and all of the posts linked dealt with passion in some or other way. I am highlighting three posts where the stories really pulled me in, and made me read almost breathless from beginning to end.
Picture of Passion by MrsK
Having created paintings before, I could totally picture the scene MrsK has set here, with the early morning rays streaming in through the window, and her naked, creating her art. I could see what he saw, and then the scene that follows, when he ‘helps’ her, paints her, takes her. Passionate and beautiful!
Rewards of Education by Asrai Devin
I had already read the first part of this story, and am glad Asrai added this second part to Wicked Wednesday. Professor and student… it can get hot, and in this story, it definitely does. I’m sure their research will lead to something!
Enter Nebula by Carolyna Luna
From the moment I started reading this piece, I was hooked. First the ‘misleading’ part, then some personal history about her passions, a part about how important music has been throughout her life, and then concluding with the last part, looking at the future. A beautiful, passionate piece of writing, and the images are just stunning!
The word ‘creative’ seems to instantly call up images of drawings or paintings, but there are so many other ways to be creative. Think of writing, or photography, baking cakes, crocheting, knitting, and so much more…
We all have some creativity in us. Share yours with us!
As always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!
