I am delighted to welcome Jenna Kirkpatrick to the roundup for the first time. Jenna’s blog, Raspberry Ripples, popped up some months ago, and ever since she has continued to surprise me with her bubbly posts, her insights, but most of all her output! And all through her words, her love for Ben – who helped with the roundup – runs like a red thread. Visit her blog, there’s lots of you to read!

Top 3 for week 445 by Jenna Kirkpatrick

So Ben and I have been checking out the posts in the Interlinkz party all week. We loved this theme. The variety of posts was fascinating. We are often drawn to creative talent, but the personal posts this week were so absorbing. As I am sure you have often heard – it was really hard to pick a top three posts. But these are our three:

David Mei (Erotic Musings, Poetry, and Social Commentary) shared with us the foreplay and afterplay he shares with his kitten:

Sex in the time of Covid

Ben and I loved this post because it comes across how proud David is of his lover. She is working her socks off working in emergency medicine which involves various shifts.

We love the way he takes into accounts the needs of his partner and is mindful of her need to rest before exhausting shifts. David shared with luscious intimate descriptions of their play together, but it was balanced with the honest reality of day to day life – the need to balance life with work, rest and play, David and his partner seem to have a great balance and it’s a joy reading about their relationship.

Another Dave, this time the talented poet Gentleman Dave (The Poet’s Kiss) gave us a one hell of an erotic wake-up!

Lovemaking begins

If you have not yet read Dave’s poem, be prepared for an erotic rush! We are big fans of Dave’s style of poetry and although this poem was superb, I think most of Dave’s repertoire encapsulates the thrill of foreplay and afterplay and is dripping with sensuality and phwah! I love the way not only does the poet’s excitement mount, but the reader is totally caught up in the building hunger of foreplay. By the time you reach the end of the poem, he has worked his magic, and you are more than happy to fantasize about what comes next!

There were so many other posts which we wanted to include, but both Ben and I kept on talking about one of the first posts we read this week:

Purple Sole and Little Gem (Purple’s Gem) shares a post about a wax play session with us:

Toasty Chest-nuts

There were so many things Ben and I loved about this account. Not only did the scene seem intensely sexy and fun, but it was clear that Purple Sole was not going to take any risks. Actually, I think that we were won over by how endearing it was. The whole taking care aspect, making sure everyone is safe and enjoying themselves really shone through. We loved the pictures of the effect the wax play created. But most of all we loved the refreshing candour as Purple Sole balances making the scene intensely sensual, but at the same time ensuring Little Gem does not end up in the nearest Emergency Room.

So I know we are only supposed to pick three. But if we are allowed to mention an unforgettable line from this week, I want to just mention one other blogger Steeled Snake whose delicious description of kissing caught my attention:

F is for Fore… and After… play

“…a lingering kiss that ends with a nibble….A soft kiss that grows and grows, changing, intensifying. Every nerve fires and stands at attention.”

A loud rumble is heard in the distance. What does it foretell?

Use the above as a prompt for an erotic story, or maybe a story from your life, or just generally write about thunder storms.
