I always love it when new people do the roundup of Wicked Wednesday. This week I welcome Liz Blackx, a fellow ‘Dutchy’! Liz has been blogging for 13 months, and her blog has become one I visit as frequently as possible, since I love the way she writes, whether fiction or fact. If you haven’t read anything of her yet, you are missing out, so hop over to her blog, or follow her on Twitter.
Top 3 for week 417 by Liz Blackx
Thank you, everyone, who participated in this week’s prompt: Sex and BDSM. I never could have dreamed of receiving so many insightful posts and hot stories. It was tough to choose only three, but I managed.
I really enjoyed the post ‘What’s Lust got to do with it?’ by Alethea Hunt. It taught me a lot about the different aspects of autism and how that is even similar to how people experience bondage. It was very insightful.
Speaking of insightful is also the post by Deviant Succubus: ‘Is it all between the sheets? – BDSM and Sex.’ As always, she has written a comprehensive essay on how she sees the relationship between BDSM and sex, in all its different forms. The post encompasses a broad spectrum of options.
My third pick is the post by MLSlavePuppet: ‘S in BDSM does not stand for Sex.’ I chose this one because it shows an entirely different perspective from mine. It’s essential in a debate like this to highlight the different sides of the story, and MLSlavePuppet perfectly explained her point of view.
I enjoyed reading everyone’s posts,
Truth is most often used to mean being in accord with fact or reality, or fidelity to an original or standard. Truth is also sometimes defined in modern contexts as an idea of “truth to self”, or authenticity.~ Wikipedia
The truth sometimes seems to be a stretchable concept, as people seem to interpret different things in different ways. What is your truth? What truth do you want to share?
As always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!
The roundup for this week’s prompt will be done by Elliott Henry.
