From the moment I met F Dot Leonora, I considered her to be a friend. She has a lovely, bubbly personality and has made me laugh so many times telling her stories, and I actually miss listening to them. It’s been too long since the last time I saw her in person. But, at least I, and all of you, can still read her stories on her blog, or follow her on Twitter. This is the third time she is doing the roundup for Wicked Wednesday, as she has also done it for week 271 (read it here) and week 336 (read it here).
Top 3 for week 408 by F Dot Leonora
This week, with everything going on…makes all of these posts all the more special. There is a level of intimacy and openness this week, that even with social distancing? Makes me feel connected to my world…
It was super hard to pick this week, but (sigh) here are my three:
When Lightning Comes From The East by May More
This “jigsaw puzzle” as May calls it is brilliant. It has all the components that a story should have, and in the end gave me…hope…
Please Don’t Be Alarmed by HisLordship
This is so terribly romantic and cyclic, I just loved it and kept reading it over and over. It is perfect!
‘He took her in his arms’: on the difficulty of writing hugs by Charlie Powell
So my long standing girl crush on Charlie is ongoing, and she feeds it because she keeps writing things I wish I had written. The piece she was proud of made me feel all of the things…
Again, this was an intense week, and all of the posts made me feel very connected to all of mankind. And to realize the power of touch…
The prompt is simple (or complicated if you want it to be): blue.
Write about anything blue, whether it’s the blue of the sea, blue skies, blue butterflies or feeling blue. Anything blue goes!
As always you are welcome to link stories that don’t follow the prompt!
The roundup for this week’s prompt will be done by Little Switch Bitch.
- The rules for this meme can be found here and you can download the Wicked Wednesday badge on the same page.
- Don’t forget to add the Wicked Wednesday button to your post, post on your blog and come back here to link your post. You have from the moment the prompt appears until Thursday 3.00 pm CET (Amsterdam time – see countdown in sidebar) to link your post below.
- Please note that it is not compulsory to follow the weekly prompt. It is only here for inspiration when you need it!
- Please make your stories no longer than 1500 words.
Thank you for participating and please, don’t forget to visit and read the other entries too! We all love to receive comments on our entries. Spread the love!
