One of the sex bloggers I really hope to meet one day is Violet Fawkes. She’s a wonderful writer and posts amazing images on her blog. Maybe one day the stars will align for us to meet! You can visit Violet’s blog to learn more about her, read her stories or see her image, or follow her on Twitter.
Top 3 by Violet Fawkes
Spoiled for choice is the way I’d describe narrowing down 18 great pieces to a Top 3 this week. Conviction as a prompt is interesting because of course it has two connotations. It was really lovely to see how everyone worked with an ambiguous term and framed it erotically. As always, I’m awestruck and inspired by this community, so I humbly give you my Wicked Wednesday Top Three (in no particular order):
Conviction by Submissy
To me, this is the ultimate love letter. The sureness that is expressed is so sexy, but also speaks to submission and vulnerability and the strength that comes from expressing that. All around, a beautiful piece of poetry, very moving.
Letters and Lonely Hearts by May More
It was lovely to find pieces of fiction not just personal expressions of feeling and expressing conviction. I love that this piece uses both the sense of commitment and conviction that the narrator explains as well as the penal theme of conviction … the ending though! OMINOUS!
Conviction (I, submissive) by Livvy Libertine
The self confident, self reflective nature of this post is so lovely. It really speaks to the powerful nature of the D/s bond and how innate the roles can be within an individual. Posts like this make it easy to understand why there is so often so much pride expressed in D/s relationships. A beautiful and inspiring read.
What happens when the curtains open? Who is watching you? Are these stage curtains, or the curtains to your bedroom? Write a sizzling hot story and share for this week’s prompt. As always you can also link stories that do not follow the prompt!
The roundup for this week’s prompt will be done by Nero Black.
