When Molly suggested to use the wonderful first Sinful Sunday contribution of F Dot Leonora as a prompt and F Dot Leonora agreed, I thought this was a great idea. I honestly expected it to be a top week, that many people would join in to write stories using the photo as a prompt. However, this didn’t happen. Only 12 posts were linked, which made last week the least successful week for Wicked Wednesday, ever. It would be great if you can give me feedback: was it the prompt or is everybody already enjoying summer vacations and just don’t have enough time to write? I was planning on using more Sinful Sunday images (with the owners’ permission of course) but I don’t want to do it if it means you don’t like these kind of prompts. Feedback on this will really be appreciated.

Having only 12 links made it both easier and more difficult to choose a top 3, but in the end I succeeded, again…

Yes by Nerdy Dirty Girl
Nerdy Dirty Girl starts off with a bang for her first Wicked Wednesday post. Damn, how many of us would not love to experience an afternoon like this?

Confession by Illicit Thoughts
I am not Catholic but have visited quite a number of cathedrals and somehow, when I see a confession booth, I always get naughty thoughts. It has been on my to-do list for quite some time to write a sexy story, but I doubt if mine would ever be as good as this one written by Kat!

First Exposure by Cammies on the floor
My top post for this week is definitely this beautiful tribute, not only to Sinful Sunday, but also to A. Just read what Sinful Sunday and the loving and supporting sex blog community can do for you and your self-confidence. This post says it all!

We have something totally different as a prompt for this week… or maybe not so different.

There are so many kinds of hormones in the human body, of which estrogen and testosterone may be the ones we will name first when asked. However, there’s a lot more, like aldesterone that regulates the kidney function, insulin that decreases blood sugar, thyroxin that promotes metabolism, oxytocin that triggers childbirth and many more. Any kind of hormone imbalance, whether in men or in women, can cause quite an upset body. This week, Wicked Wednesday is all about hormones, whether sexy hormones or irritating ones. Share sexy stories, true stories, advice… share your hormones with us!

  1. The rules for this meme can be found here and you can download the Wicked Wednesday badge on the same page.
  2. Don’t forget to add the Wicked Wednesday button to your post, post on your blog and come back here to link your post. You have from the moment the prompt appears until Thursday morning roundabout 9.00 am (Western European time) to link your post on the Wicked Wednesday Entries page.
  3. There will be a prompt every week to help those who need a little push of inspiration to put something to paper… Or rather, to know which keys to touch.
  4. Please note that it is not compulsory to follow the prompt. It is only here for inspiration when you need it!

Thank you for participating and please, don’t forget to visit and read the other entries too! We all love to receive comments on our entries. Spread the love!

  1. I don’t mind photo prompts. I just didn’t find that photo interesting enough to inspire a story. I can also only manage a couple posts a week and I try not to make every post a meme post. It bothers me for some reason. Lol

  2. I actually had it in my head that the prompt was the word PRIDE, god knows why! That’s why I didn’t use the photo as a prompt. I quite like the photo prompts… Often a visual is a great way to inspire a story.
I have a story in my head now and think I can work hormones into it… Yay!
Thanks for choosing my story! Wish I could say it’s true but it’s not! I stopped going to confession before I hit 10 years old! Growing up being educated by nuns from age 4-17 wasn’t pleasant but look how well I turned out!? Haha!
    Cheers Rebel x
ps I’d LOVE to read your take on the confessional!

  3. This is actually regarding hormones, as I didn’t participate in the previous prompt and thus can’t comment on it.
I don’t know if this is a popular opinion among women, but I can honestly say that I am thrilled to have hit menopause. I had absolutely hellish periods for 38 years (they started when I was 12 and have ended at age 50.) I know that it’s a common thing in our society to lament getting older, but other than the wear and tear caused by working physical jobs for my entire working life, I’m actually rather happy with it. I no longer have to dread a week of hell where I spent the entire time wishing I could turn into my fabulous Liberace-like male alter ego for a week so I wouldn’t have to suffer.
    That’s my take on hormones!
I enjoy seeing what the prompts will be and do follow the blog. I just don’t participate officially.

  4. I’m shocked that not many posted. The only reason why we would miss it is because I am traveling and A isn’t always on top of things (though her post this week rocked, so thrilled she was recognized!).

    1. No problem that you missed last week hun, I know how real life can get in the way. I was just curious about the reasons and I am amazed how many people took the time to comment. Thank you 🙂

  5. I love the idea of photo prompts! So many of the Sinful Sunday photos look like they have a great story behind them, and seeing how they could be interpreted would be really interesting. I was very sad to be too busy to write anything last week, it was a great photo! Xxx

  6. I’m fine with any prompt you give…it pushes me to write about things I wouldn’t normally write about. That being said…I just think it’s summer. People are unplugging and heading outdoors. Or at least I hope they are. I simply have a job that affords me more time during the summer months, so I post more now than I do during the winter.

  7. I loved the photo prompt, the week just got away from me and I didn’t manage to finish my story in time. I have kept the draft though and may finish it later. 😀

I always mean to join in but sometimes I just don’t get round to it. 🙁 Bloody real life getting in the way of writing. ;D

    HGG. xx

      1. The story was/is called The Paris Lie, and it involves a necklace and a surprise trip to Paris. 😀 Not sure if that’s to make you want to read it more or less. lol. xx

  8. Hi Marie!

I loved the photo prompt, and I love the lady in the photo, but unfortunately, I had a terrible week and did not have the gumption to write much.

I think photo prompts are brilliant, btw.
