There were nineteen entries last week for the prompt ‘taste’. And damn, there were some incredibly good ones, making it a difficult task to choose a top 3. I ended up with six posts on a shortlist and it was with pain in my heart that I had to remove three posts from my list. The following posts made it to my top 3 list for the posts that have been linked last week:

Wicked Wednesday #152 – Taste by F Dot Leonora
You might know that F Dot Leonora is writing an ongoing story for Wicked Wednesday and she has been doing so for more than a year – 56 weeks to be precise. Her story is full of intrigues between different sexy and interesting characters. This installment introduces a new and exciting person, but the reason I chose this as one of my top 3 is the way the author has pulled everyone into the story with her lovely descriptions of places and feelings.

The Taste of Fear by Rye of Chasing Me, Chasing You
Our subconscious can cause our fears and insecurities to occur in dreams. Rye tells us about her dream and the way she wakes up, the feelings she has when she wakes up. This resonated with me, reminding me of the times I woke up with tears on my face because of my own fears and insecurities. The power of the subconscious really is unknown.

Stolen Minutes by Oleander Plume
This is an exquisite piece of writing by Oleander Plume. The way she describes their feelings, what they are doing and their desire for each other make you feel like you are in the room, watching them. Thius is a must read!

Most of us had dates in our lives, some good ones, some bad ones, some funny ones, some sad ones. Share your experiences, or interpret the prompt in any way you desire.
